At United Way of Northwest Arkansas, we are exploring ways to support lasting change in our community.
United Way fights for greater opportunities for every person in every community. We stand for all people of color and are committed to fighting for justice and equality. Racism has no place in our community, yet racial inequity is still a significant barrier for many of our neighbors. We are committed to addressing inequities that prevent people from accessing opportunities that can lead to a pathway toward prosperity.
For more than 90 years, United Way of Northwest Arkansas has been a beacon of hope and change, and we see this as a moment to shine even brighter.
We are dedicated to developing a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion by considering these concepts in their many forms, including diversity of appearance, background, ideology, ability, and more. Members of our board and staff participate in personal and professional development activities that examine societal preconceptions as well as our own.
We believe that community challenges are sustainably solved when all parties come together, and the time for change is now. Together, we can unite to create better days for everyone.
